During what is an incredibly exciting, busy time for the company, Little Dude Films is going to be producing its first feature film, called South of the River. Written and directed by Joe Watkins, South of the River tells the story of Aaron, a handsome, charming rock singer, who struggles to come to terms with having cancer in the midst of his rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.
Interwoven with a vibrant soundtrack and a hefty dose of black comedy, the film depicts how Aaron’s life is turned upside down by what he’s going through and the effect this has on his relationships, his music and his life. South of the River features a number of well established actors, such as David Spinx and Ewen McIntosh, plus some exciting, up and coming young talent both in front of and behind the camera.
The film has finished principal photography and is now beginning post production.
