Donald Bain, my American co-author on The Lost Blonde feature film script, about the life of Veronica Lake, has sadly died. He is perhaps best known for writing the Murder, She Wrote books.
Don, who co-wrote Veronica Lake’s autobiography with her and befriended her in her last years, was a true gentleman, a lovely man, a fine writer and wonderful to work with. My thoughts go out to his friends and family at this time.
His passing makes me even more determined to make the feature film, for him as well as for Veronica; two greats who left us too soon.
I treasure my time working with Don and will dedicate The Lost Blonde to his memory.
