Little Dude Films is delighted to announce that leading Hungarian director, Gábor Herendi, is now attached to direct The Lost Blonde, our feature film about 1940’s Hollywood icon, Veronica Lake.
Gábor has had a long and distinguished career in directing, writing and producing feature films and TV series’ in Hungary, including the TV series Tea and A La Carte and feature films Lora, Bet on Revenge and most recently Toxikoma. The Lost Blonde will be his first feature to be shot in the UK. The news follows the project’s recent success in this year’s Golden Trailer Awards, GTA21, in which it won the prestigious award for best trailer/no movie.
Ian Beaumont, Little Dude Films’ director said about the news: “We couldn’t be more delighted to have Gábor on board as the director of The Lost Blonde. He brings a highly artistic and creative sensibility to the project, which is exactly right for it. We look forward very much to making the film with him in the UK.”
In response, Gábor said: “I’m honoured to be the part of the Little Dude Films team.” The company are planning to film The Lost Blonde in the UK at some point in 2022.
