Little Dude Films
Little Dude Films is the film division of Little Dude Media Ltd and is dedicated to writing and producing high quality short and feature length films and TV programmes.
The company’s films have appeared in numerous festivals and have won or been shortlisted for a number of awards. These include Shades of Beige, starring Michelle Dockery of Downton Abbey fame, which was officially selected for the London Short Film Festival in 2011 and won Best Drama in the Portobello Film Festival in 2012; Deathless, which was screened at BAFTA and in the L.A. Indie Film Festival in 2013; Red Shadows, which was shortlisted for a Golden Trailer Award, also in 2013; Drift, which won Best Drama in the Portobello Film Festival in 2016; and Bubbles, which was long listed for the London Film Festival and won Best Foreign Short Film in the L.A. Indie Film Festival, both in 2018. In 2017, Ian also co-produced the Indian dance musical Spectrum and produced and directed the film of the sell-out Spectrum concert at Oxford House Theatre, London.
In 2020, Little Dude Films completed its first feature film, the well received music based drama, South of the River, which has been launched in the UK and USA and other countries and is also available to view on Amazon Prime and other streaming and viewing platforms. We are currently developing a number of feature projects, including a feature length version of Deathless; a gritty urban drama called Sunrise for the Blind; an animated second world war feature film, Goodnight, Berlin!; and The Lost Blonde, about the life of iconic Hollywood actress, Veronica Lake. We are also developing a TV series called Waving at Strangers.
Little Dude Films is led by Ian Beaumont. Prior to founding the company, Ian worked on a number of feature film projects with acclaimed Slovakian producer Patrik Pass and film company Trigon, including Heaven, Hell, Earth, Nicky’s Family and English Rhapsody. Little Dude Films is happy to consider screenplay submissions.
All scripts must be submitted by the writer only.
All film scripts must be feature length, i.e. over 85 pages long, and in the regular format/typeface etc.
TV scripts will also be considered.
All scripts must be accompanied by a treatment or synopsis.
Please include details of any current attachments to the script, e.g. actors, finance.
Please include your contact details, i.e. your name, address, email address and mobile telephone number.
Please also include a short biography about yourself.
We recommend that you also include the script's copyright details.
